Our first ever photo together - we met during a summer biology research program hosted by the University of Minnesota - our alma mater. I chickened out of asking Holly for a date at the end-of-program boat party.

We reconnected months later on LinkedIn after Holly sent me a DM. We chatted for weeks this way before I got her number.

I took my first ever trip to Texas to visit Holly. Minnesotans are not tolerant of the Texas heat, so we headed to the beach.

Our first vacation together during our summer of long distance dating. We met half way for fourth of July weekend in Chicago.

I introduced Holly to the Minnesota cabin lifestyle - obviously she found it suitable.

Halloween at my post-college house. Holly was Ms Frizzle. Instead of "the bus", I improvised "bachelorette party boat captain".

Holly joined the Lynch family trip to Hawaii. I like to kick back and relax on vacation, but I quickly found this was not Holly's style...

Right after we returned from Hawaii, the world locked down for Covid. Holly finished her degree remotely, zooming into class from my parents' basement.

Soon after graduating, Holly landed a job at a Harvard lab in Boston. On a whim, I decided to move out with her - this proved to be one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Boston has treated us well - I first did research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, then started my PhD at Harvard Medical School.

Holly conducted cutting-edge neurology research before joining a biotechnology startup called "Entrada", where she develops life-saving therapeutics for kids with muscular dystrophy.

In another spur-of-the-moment decision, Holly convinced me to adopt a cat. Now we have two wonderful fur babies: Indigo and Winnie.

We visited France for a research conference (but mostly to vacation). This inspired our love of Paris, French food, and the Alps.

I proposed in Seattle with a private picnic, then we celebrated with the classiest sushi experience money can buy.
